The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing and repairing problems with all production equipment including conveyors, packaging lines, rotary and carton fillers. This role will require daily documentation pertaining to downtime, spare parts, and preventative maintenance performed. This role will also assist with equipment changeovers. Must have own tools. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical issues on machinery and equipment. Perform planned maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance of machinery and equipment. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and that machinery and equipment operate safely. Document maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs and parts used and/or replaced. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
