You should be able to prepare trailers and yard vehicles for processing and dispatching shipments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work under close supervision in a team setting in a fast-paced production environment. Inspects trucks and trailers for defects before and after trips and submits reports daily indicating truck/trailer conditions. Maintains drivers log according to DOT regulations when required. Is responsible for safe and timely performance of his/her duties. Delivers trailers to customers on a continuous basis using the drop and hook method. Deliver finished dairy products directly to customer locations. Works in a safety sensitive position and is required to follow all safety rules and procedures including but not limited to foot and ear protection and report all hazardous conditions. Maintains proper housekeeping of work area. Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor. Must comply with all safety rules and regulations set by DOT and company policies. Must comply with Good Manufacturing Processes under FDA standards. Follow controlled SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures. Work Schedule - 11:00pm - Finished, off Sunday and Tuesday Pay Rate - $24.14/hr plus $0.50 differential Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up coding machine for various products and proper code dates. Identify and use proper packaging, labels, caps, etc. for various finished products. Ensure quality and security of product which includes but is not limited to weights, carton seals, dye checks, code dates, and proper packaging. Complete data sheets and ersure requirements have been met. Hook up and tear down fillers between product change over. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing and repairing problems with all production equipment including conveyors, packaging lines, rotary and carton fillers. Additionally, Maintenance Mechanics will perform routine preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and ensure the product produced is of the highest quality and safe. This role will require daily documentation pertaining to downtime, spare parts, and preventative maintenance performed. This role will also assist with equipment changeovers. Must have own tools. Cloverland Farms Dairy is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to be a part of the Cloverland team at our Baltimore MD location. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining an efficient facility, including receiving, processing, packaging equipment and related systems, general plant operations and waste treatment. The Maintenance Supervisor must have a working knowledge of the equipment (both mechanical and electrical) in all areas of responsibility. The Maintenance Supervisor will provide engineering support for the plant, to include project implementation, production, and equipment improvement initiatives and to support the daily operations of the plant to ensure all safety, production and quality goals are achieved. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and personnel management skills. The person must be able to work well with others from production personnel to plant management and be able to develop positive working relationships with operations. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of frontline employees and be responsible for ensuring the department is well managed to reduce downtime, increase product output/quality and develop a highly functioning cross trained department.
